Karl Björk joins sales team to increase sales efforts of online demos in EMEA

Gothenburg, Sweden (September 3, 2008) – Today Runaware, the global leader in online software demos and related services, announces the addition of Karl Björk to their European sales organization. Karl Björk joins the EMEA (Europé, Middle East & Africa) sales organization effective immediately as the Vice President of Nordic and Central European Sales. Björk has extensive experience in international business development and operational sales with several different Swedish IT companies. ”We are very pleased to add a person with Karl’s experience,” says Tim Keyes, Runaware CEO. “EMEA is a fast-growing market for Runaware and is extremely important to our future. Karl’s added experience and efforts will only accelerate this growth,” adds Keyes.

During 2004-2007 Björk was one of the key members of MicroSystemation AB when this company established itself as market leader its niche on the world market. Micro Systemation AB successfully managed to double their turnover through organic growth three years running.

Björk has, in several different Swedish companies, been responsible for building up sales in German-speaking Europe. During 1997-2001 he was active within iD2 Technologies, with Björk as a key player, iD2’s sales dramatically increased with Central Europe becoming the most important market.
