TestDrive enables prospective customers to try out a full-featured version of FileMaker Pro without having to download and install it. "FileMaker see Runaware’s technology as the only viable on-line method of allowing prospective customers to see the power and ease of use of FileMaker Pro, our FileMaker Applications, and our partners' solutions, says Neil Wright, Marketing Manager at FileMaker International. "Being able to try out a living, breathing piece of software without a lengthy download appeals to the customer who wants to make a proper, considered purchase - Runaware was the only company we found being able to deliver a solution to FileMaker and our development partners".
A key part of FileMaker International's strategy is to offer the market inexpensive solutions that do a job specific to an industry. The Runaware TestDrive System will showcase solutions that FileMaker and its partners have built for specific markets such as healthcare, print & publishing, education and small business.
"By using the TestDrive System we expect the number of online leads for FileMaker Pro products and our partners' solutions to increase dramatically within a 6 month period and further establish FileMaker and our partners as the leading names in custom-fit solutions, says Neil Wright. "We expect that most of FileMaker's developers who market ready-built and customisable solutions will see the ability to use the Runaware service via FileMaker as a great way to reach more customers. Already, we have a good number of developers who are keen to get on board and expect this number to increase once they see how effective this service can be".
